The safety and health of our patients and employees are extremely important to us and we are monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as it unfolds. We also understand our responsibility to continue providing the care you need to stay mobile and confident in your daily lives.
As an essential provider of life sustaining prosthetic care and orthopedic devices, we will stay open for as long as possible, conditional on state and federal government regulations, through the current COVID-19 pandemic, providing you with the medically necessary devices and care you need to stay mobile and safe. We have aligned our policies with CDC and state recommendations to ensure the safety and health of our patients, employees and communities. This may change as the situation unfolds, so please check with our office for any updates, questions or concerns.
Some changes you might see are as follows:
Telehealth Video Conferencing – Virtual Visits
Some consults and follow-up appointments may be scheduled via Telehealth Video Conferencing and we have a secure HIPAA compliant system in place to allow for 2-way video Telehealth visits. Please contact our office at 888-838-0099 for more information or to schedule your appointment remotely.
Special Safety and Disinfection Protocols
1. All employees, patients and caregivers are screened prior to facility entry or treatment for symptoms of respiratory infection or contact with people who have a confirmed COVID-19 infection.
2. All patient devices, clinician tools, patient rooms and surfaces are disinfected using EPA approved disinfectants and protocols.
In-office appointments are being scheduled or rescheduled to minimize social contact in our waiting areas. All patients will be brought directly to one of our private patient rooms on arrival.
3. Employees whose work responsibilities can be accomplished from home are being set-up for home access to their work computers and phones to allow for continued service ability and minimal down-time.
4. Nursing Facility visits for required care will continue as per each facilities’ policies. Some facilities are not allowing in-person visits for prosthetic and orthotic care so please check with our office and the Nursing Facility to confirm.
Thank you for your understanding and be rest assured we will continue to be here to provide for your needs in a safe and responsible manner.
